6 Books All About Narwhals
I first heard of a narwhal when my oldest child did a book report on these amazing toothed whales in second grade. Since then, narwhals seem to be everywhere. They are pretty cool, I have to admit, since they do have a “horn” that reminds one of a unicorn. What’s not to like about that? Here are few fun books all about these unique sea creatures.

In the first book in the Narwhal and Jelly series, author Ben Clanton introduces children to the “unicorn of the sea,” also known as a narwhal. In his book, even the jellyfish doesn’t know what a narwhal is. But, in a funny turn of events, the narwhal has never heard of a jellyfish either! Super cute and sure to entertain your young readers, Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea is an adorable introduction to narwhals.
Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt, by Ben Clanton
Jelly and Narwhal reunite in this story in which Narwhal decides he wants to be a super hero. But what will they think up for his super hero name and secret identity? And will Jelly be the perfect sidekick? Kids will laugh out loud at these funny “super heroes” and learn a little about sea creatures as well. And there’s even a cartoon included, written by Narwhal and Jelly no less, about Super Waffle and Strawberry Sidekick. Kids will love this undersea series.
