7 Essential Han Solo Stories

Rogue. Scoundrel. Smuggler. Scruffy looking Nerf herder. In the often good vs. evil, black-and-white galaxy of Star Wars, Han Solo has always been colored in refreshing shades of gray. Even if he never changes his pants, we love him. (He knows.)

The new hardcover edition also includes “Showdown on the Smugglers’ Moon,” a five-part story from Jason Aaron and Stuart Immonen in which Han and Leia are pursued by Imperials, their escape complicated by a woman from Han’s past. It’s the introduction of Sana Starros, Han’s (sham) wife from his smuggling days. As is typical when Han gets back together with old friends, it’s not a happy reunion. Sana has been a recurring character in the Marvel Star Wars series, and has a significant role in the Last Shot novel.
