Booker Prize Shortlist 2021

We’ve been thrilled by so many of the recent Booker Prize picks, including Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart, The Testaments by Margaret Atwood and Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. The 2021 Booker Prize shortlist has just been announced, and you don’t want to miss the six spectacular novels picked by this year’s judges.

Bewilderment is an indelible story of a pair of lost boys, father and son, and it’s the newest novel from Richard Powers, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Overstory. A Passage North by Anuk Arudpragasam is a profound, and elegantly written story about living in the aftermath of trauma. Damon Galgut is no stranger to Booker Prize — The Promise, a powerful family saga set in South Africa, is his third nomination. Out now in the UK but coming to the US in March 2022, is Nadifa Mohamed’s novel The Fortune Men, which asks if justice is real and the truth is, in fact, enough to save us.
