Wil loves to read. Books transport the forty-year-old beyond his spartan life, introduce him to new people, and take him to exciting new worlds. He longs to find his next page-turning adventure. However, he soon discovers that his reading impulses lead him on a disturbing journey that tests his sense of right and wrong-a journey so far from himself that he may lose all he holds dear unless he can find his way back.
'The Reading Pastor, ' or so he is dubbed by his congregation, finds solace in flea market hopping allowing him to escape a world tugging on him like strings hanging from buoyant balloons.
