They walk away because they feel like they are failing Him.

They wonder:

Am I doing this right?
Why do I still struggle with the same things?
Why don't I feel like the kind of Christian I'm supposed to be?

The Beatitudes are some of the most familiar words Jesus ever spoke, yet they are often misunderstood. They are frequently viewed as a list of qualities to achieve-a picture of the person we should become if we want to be faithful.

But what if Jesus was doing something different?

What if He was speaking directly to the people who already knew they needed Him?

In Blessed Where You Are Broken, the Beatitudes are explored through the lens of the wounds, struggles, and places of surrender we often try to hide, fix, or outgrow. Through Jesus' words, we discover that God's Kingdom is not only found after we have become stronger, more certain, or more put together.

It is found right where we are.

Jesus called the poor in spirit blessed.
He called those who mourn blessed.
He called the hungry, the merciful, the peacemakers, and those who endure hardship blessed.

Not because pain itself is the blessing.

But because God meets us there.

This book is for those who:

- feel like they are "bad at Christianity"
- struggle with comparison or spiritual exhaustion
- wonder if God is disappointed in them
- carry wounds they cannot seem to fix
- desire a deeper relationship with God but do not know where to begin

This is not a book about becoming a perfect Christian. It is not a list of steps to perform or a formula for fixing your faith.

It is an invitation to slow down.

To sit with Jesus.

To recognize that God is already present in the places you thought disqualified you.

Each chapter of Blessed Where You Are Broken stands on its own, allowing you to begin where you are and move at the pace God leads. Whether read alone, with a small group, or as a companion for personal reflection, these pages offer space to pause, listen, and rediscover the grace of a God who meets His children in the middle of their journey.

Because sometimes the places we are most tempted to hide are the very places where God begins His greatest work.

God meets us where we are.
