Crumbling of the Soul (Infinite Horizons, #45)

The patio rippled under Ysan's feet. Two generations of drought had transformed the Library of Truth into a ruin.

Just like Ysan's life.

One which prevented the Soul of the World from crumbling to dust, taking all life with it.
