Jake is back, having beaten the cancer that nearly took his life. But can he persuade his estranged wife that he's also had a change of heart? He's hoping for a miracle.

Jake's found a job managing an apartment house, and he's living on the property. He has no money. He has no life. He has only dreams. And it's his dreams that carry him to the house he used to share with his estranged wife, Beth, and their two sons one snowy winter day. 

Beth is as cold to him as the weather. She might want to open the doors to their house and their bedroom to him, but she can't. His anger over his cancer diagnosis erected a wall between them. And she has their two sons to protect.
