WHEN THE EARTH TREMBLED !

January 12, 2010 - The foundation of the Haitian Capital ( Port-au-Prince) was savagely rattled by one of the deadliest earthquakes of our era. We could easily hear the screams of the whole population in distress during the aftershocks subsequent to the main jolt. The assessment was disastrous. Nevertheless, the inheritance that must be bequeathed to the next generation depends in many aspects of the knowledge acquired in the laboratory of that humanitarian drama, if the lessons were well learned.
