'In 2004 I walked out of the Bangkok Hilton hotel almost penniless, wearing only a T-shirt and sweatpants, leaving behind my wife 'Eve', (an accused cult leader), her three children, my passport, and the last five thousand dollars Eve would ever steal from me. This is the story of what circumstances lead me into this ultimately unhappy relationship and what drove me to take such drastic action to leave.
