A TRIBUTE TO PRIVATE VINCENT CAVALLO

The story of an American Soldier killed at 19 in Burma in WW II. After years of research the author, who was also Private Cavallo's first cousin, wrote a gripping narrative. Nothing was known by the Cavallo family at the time. But, the author immersed himself in history to tell his cousin's true story for him. The story does not glorify war but reports war's reality for those who faced the enemy and dangers of the Burmese jungle at close quarters.
