A Burning of the Fallen Ash: Part One

The first chapter of Bedela Reikali's inaugural work is an elliptical verse crafted from "the heart of ancient hymns." The subtle work carries powerful undercurrents of the relationship between time, space, and the Self, and hints of the inherent wisdom in all of us. The book is a result of the collaboration between a nascent company, From an Olive Tree, and a new author intent on challenging false beliefs and practices. On describing the first chapter in this break-out work, Reikali commented,
