Glass Bones Soft Heart

Prologue: The Glass Boy

Eli had always known he was different. Not in the way that made

him special, at least not in the way others might think. It wasn't his

mind, sharp and curious, or his heart, soft and open. It wasn't the

way he could make people laugh or the way he cared about his

family, always making sure they knew how much they meant to

him.
