You're Forgiven: Helmet and Breastplate

Seven-year-old Michael Waston admires the blessed Christian life his parents exemplify and wants nothing more than to follow them in his own walk with God. Unfortunately, his unpredictable bad temper is the biggest challenge he must overcome as, one day, he unintentionally hurts his four-year-old sister, Matsey. He asks and receives forgiveness, but when Matsey ends up in the hospital with brain cancer, Michael believes it is his fault.

As he is tested by trials and situations thrown at him by the Enemy, Michael's father encourages him to grow in his faith through prayer and reading scripture. It is through these methods Michael discovers that God has provided an armor of protection against the Enemy for all of His children to wear and begins to learn how to use it.

A story of overcoming personal trials, finding forgiveness in others and in ourselves, and using God's Word for protection and to bring others to salvation, Barbara Elliott-Girod's You're Forgiven proves that while Satan may come after us as we walk this world, we have the armor of God to protect us.
