No Resistance

2066. Democracy is dead. Patriots rule over a new America where party members thrive in walled-off utopias while the rest of the country struggles outside.

Nola Flynn, raised to be a soldier in the Resistance army, was her father's pride and joy. Until the day she betrayed her family and disappeared. Twenty years later, she lives a solitary life in a sector outside Patriot walls. Scarred by her past, she's unable to form close bonds. For her, it's safer to be alone.

Everything changes when she's recruited to tutor the autistic daughter of a Patriot leader. Through her relationship with the child she rediscovers a joy for living and learns to trust again. But when she finds out the brother she abandoned is in danger, she must decide whether to return to her past to save him or protect the child she's grown to love.
