Voices of Change is a heartwarming coming-of-age story that follows Sherice, a spirited and creative teenager, as she navigates the challenges of self-discovery, friendship, and community. Sherice's life takes an unexpected turn when she channels her frustrations into creating a comic series called Rebel Sheri, inspired by her struggles with her brother's teasing and her own determination to stand up for herself.
As her comic gains attention at school, Sherice finds herself at the center of a movement encouraging self-expression and creativity among her peers. With the support of her best friends, Heather and Elliot, and her mentor, Mrs. Kline, Sherice launches a student-led creative writing and art workshop called Creative Voices. The workshop becomes a safe space for students to share their stories, explore their talents, and find their voices, fostering a newfound sense of community and belonging.
