The Greywood Pantry began with a simple idea: what if the most powerful thing you could offer a dying world wasn't a sword, but a good meal?
This companion booklet contains five recipes from the Greywood — the ancient hidden forest at the heart of that story. They were cooked by the people who lived there, recorded by the people who ate there, and annotated by everyone who couldn't help themselves.
A ragu carried through twenty-nine years of war, adapted without sentiment for a forest kitchen. Pommes purée made the Robuchon way — which is to say, emphatically not mashed potatoes. A cream puff recipe documented over two days by a man obsessed with structural integrity and a fourteen-year-old who ate the irregular ones. A burnt Basque cheesecake made before its creator was told it already existed. And a tiramisu written for someone specific, in case they needed it.
Each recipe works. Each one carries something of the person who made it.
The booklet is spoiler-light and stands alone — you don't need to have read the novel to cook from it. But if something here makes you curious about the forest, the demon lord who needed a meal more than an army, or the powerless champion who decided feeding someone was braver than fighting them — The Greywood Pantry is where the rest of the story lives.
Free. No strings attached. If you paid for this booklet, you were scammed.
Just food, and the people who made it mean something.
