Starting over...: The Croftsbridge Chronicles

Ireland in the 1960s was at times a harsh place for many to live in, where one mistake or tragedy could condemn a child to a life inside one of the State's institutions.
When a teenage boy walks free from Thorn Hill Industrial School, by chance he arrives into the quiet Kilkenny village of Croftsbridge. But peace doesn't last long. An act of shocking violence tears through the community, changing many lives forever.
From an elderly shopkeeper struggling with grief, to a student nurse fighting to save a life, to a young reporter betrayed and broken - few escape untouched. Two brothers see their world torn apart, while a young girl, desperate to escape to London, discovers betrayal closer to home.
As secrets are exposed and loyalties are tested, those left behind must find the strength to pick up the pieces and start over once more.
Starting Over is a story of love, loss, redemption, and greed, set against the backdrop of Ireland's sometimes darker past.
