In a gruesome and emotional journey, three unlikely adolescents come together on one common ground: justice.
Living in an abandoned beach-front property, the Trio of Wronged Warriors is left to face the tribulations of war, abuse, disease and destruction. With it, they must find out who is to blame: is it the rebels, or those who set them off? Is it the Witherflower, or those that planted his seed? Is it who fights the war... or those who started it?
MERCY IS DEAD is a multi-media novella containing story, poetry, and illustrations. It's a story about war, both global and interpersonal. But it's also a love story: for a family we are not born into, but find out in the world with our hearts.
In this short book, follow our protagonist August Mechia as she leaves behind the pain of her past to meet her new family and biggest allies: Adurin Smith and Dolan Adelman.
