The False Dawn

The war is over—but peace was never supposed to feel this wrong. After surviving a battle that changed everything, Kael awakens in a world that's unfamiliar. The silence has lifted, and humanity has been given a chance to begin again. But beneath the calm, something feels unnatural. Memories no longer fit together. Familiar places carry unfamiliar histories. Ancient symbols begin appearing where they should not exist, and the deeper Kael searches for answers, the more the world around him seems determined to keep its secrets buried. Kael faces a growing fear that the peace they fought for may have been built on something far more dangerous than war. Trust begins to fracture, hidden powers stir beneath the surface, and every answer leads them closer to a truth that could reshape everything they believe about their world—and one another. Because a perfect world can still be a prison. And every false dawn eventually gives way to darkness. The False Dawn is the second installment in the When Heaven Fell Silent series, continuing its cinematic story of divine power, brotherhood, sacrifice, hidden truths, and the cost of creating peace.
