Charcoal Heart

Beth MacDonald has been struggling in art school. When she's offered a chance to earn a spot at a well-known gallery in Halifax, she's consumed by her determination to win the competition. It's the one hope she has for a career that will get her out from under the thumb of her over-protective mother. She doesn't have time for distractions, least of all from the annoying new student that doesn't take school seriously and spends every class flirting with other women, even if his piercing blue gaze makes her cheeks hot.

Sam Larson may not take school seriously, but that's because Sam has secrets of his own. When they are forced to partner together on a project, Sam pushes Beth to make erotic art. He knows she can win the competition if she just does what she's good at...even if that means drawing him naked. Beth doesn't know if giving in to his demands will ruin her chances of becoming the successful artist she's always wanted to be, or if Sam holds the key to her ultimate freedom.
