Scrap Iron Haven: Love & Tempura Time.

Mark Taper is a sixteen-year-old high school prodigy with an intellect that far surpasses his years. Operating as a private investigator in a large-scale, shielded metropolis surrounded by a molten wasteland, Mark navigates a city where corporate industry and organized crime are two sides of the same coin.

Accompanied by his ten-year-old assistant, Glim, who is obsessed with uncovering the source of his genius, and Anton, a Russian veteran who provides the muscle and the wheels, Mark takes on the cases the police can't...or won't...touch.

From high-stakes bank heists orchestrated by supernatural threats to corporate conspiracies involving experimental drugs in professional sports, Mark relies on cold, analytical deduction. However, beneath his indifferent exterior lies a dangerous hair-trigger... if those he cares about are threatened, his logic gives way to "Tempura Time", a state of pure, lethal instinct.
