The Second Sophia

Sophia Carter works the night shift at Hollow Creek Medical Center. Three AM. Coffee. Rounds. The same routine every night.

Then she checks the monitor.

The hallway is empty. But on the screen, someone is walking back and forth at the end of the corridor. Someone wearing Sophia's scrubs. Someone with Sophia's face.

Every night, the second Sophia gets closer. Every night, she learns more. And tonight, she has learned how to speak.

The monitor never lies. But what it shows... is not her.
