The Kiss Off

If the best defense is a good offense, then hockey star Violet Starling knows exactly how to make a comeback ... goodbye cheating ex and hello hot new hockey hero rival.

Violet Starling has the perfect plan to get revenge on her cheating ex-seducing the new star of the men's pro hockey team her ex coaches.

It should be easy enough-she's the captain of the championship women's pro team in New York, the city's sports darlings, and they share their arena with the guys.

Beckett James, renowned as much for his discipline as for his distracting good looks, is new in town, so when Violet crashes his preseason team-building costume party, he never sees her coming.

Here's hoping their red-hot kiss distracts him when Violet's ice-side at his first face-off.

It does a lot more than that, sparking a whole new rivalry between the men's and women's teams that seems to grow with every new stat they put on the board. The problem is, with every showdown, it's getting harder for either of them to say no to the furtive texts, heated glances, and late-night rendezvous under the sports-drink billboards featuring their battle of the sexes.

It was only supposed to be a little revenge kiss, but Violet can't stop thinking that the guy who's supposed to be immune to distractions is now the one distracting her. If anyone finds out that the famous rivals are hiding a forbidden secret behind the scenes, it's game over for both of them. But if Violet wins, she might lose her heart.
