The Terrible Turnoff and Me

"Susan Hubbard and her friends are back and they couldn't be having more fun. When they are selected to take part in a television research project, they turn off their televisions and begin exploring other interests that earn them a spot on national television. There are lots of surprises along the way for Susan but the most surprising involves her long-time friend, Joey. Thompson's characters will grab middle school readers and open them to adventures waiting for them right in their own neighborhoods,"-Penny Paquette, co-author of Thinking Games for Kids
