Overcast: (The 01:23 Bardo, Book 1 of 6)

Wish your past away...and change your future. Everyone at school thinks of Rebecca Conner as the weird kid and she knows why. Her brother went missing while surfing and it turned her family's lives upside down. But it's easier for Rebecca to pretend he's still out there, hidden in plain sight, working as a private detective with her alongside him. One strange night, that made-up version of the past becomes reality. Rebecca finds herself having to save her brother for real, with the least likely ally - a boy from her science class she's attracted to, but who she knows is equally not meant to be there.
