My America Sonnets: 1776 to 1825: American History as Seen Through the Eyes of a Would-be Poet

"My America Sonnets: 1776 to 1825" is the first of a five volume series depicting American history in a poetic format. Using the English sonnet as a template, the panorama of the last 230 plus years of our country's past comes alive. Supported by research from many sources shown in the Endnotes, the poems are both informative and enjoyable to read.
