Dillinger and Capone: An Original Screenplay

Imagine that John Dillinger was not killed in front of Chicago's Biograph Theater in 1934 (a theory which some historians believe to be true). Imagine that, in 1940, he has assumed a new identity and lives on a farm in the Pacific Northwest with a wife and young son...when he is kidnapped and taken to Florida to meet ailing and retired gang lord, Al Capone. Big Al has a job for Dillinger, and when the notorious outlaw of the 1930s accepts, the fireworks begin.Initially titled BIG AL AND DESPERATE DAN, this original screenplay by Michael B. Druxman served as the basis for the Roger Corman produced film, DILLINGER AND CAPONE (1995), which starred Martin Sheen and F. Murray Abraham.
