From Numbers to Fractals: A short introduction to mathematics

Mathematics is not the most popular science. Its language and logical structure seem to be too boring to be really interesting. But it is the language that scientist and engineers use to write down their understanding of the world. If we want to understand the modern world, we have to understand this language. This short introduction provides just a small glimpse into mathematics with its numbers, vectors, and fractals. It is not meant to be a comprehensive textbook. It only targets to explain important terms and how to use them.
