Commissioned with Power: Understanding The Nature And Purpose Of Our God Given Authority In Evangelism

The Great Commission of Christ to His Church was given by Christ to win the world of lost souls to Him. As Christ was sent by the Father, He also commissioned the Church in an equally important task to seek and save that which is lost. However, He did not just send the Church with a message of salvation. He equipped the Church by furnishing it with the power of His Holy Spirit who would help them in their task of world evangelism. He promised that accompanying signs would follow those that believe. Yet today, many are doubtful if such signs and wonders are still accompanying the preaching of the Gospel. This book shares some wonderful insights into the world of the early Church which are still applicable to the Church of this age.
