Capstone: A Theoretical, Practical, and Biblical Approach to Missions and Evangelism

There are eight different important areas of missions that a missionary must consider when going into a foreign culture. The eight topics are as follows: missions and evangelism, the history of missions, a theology of missions, contextualization, cross-cultural anthropology, cross-cultural communication, theology and culture, and contemporary issues affecting missions. These topics will be examined in detail from a biblical point of view. Each area will be discussed specifically in a different chapter of this paper to help understand what biblical missions is and how to put it into practice. This paper was submitted to Dr. H. Ed. Pruitt for the requirements of the completion of the MI 409 Capstone Project at Truett-McConnell College.
