My Best Friends

My Best Friends is a poem that demonstrates the many ways that animals can be seen as allies. It speaks to young and old humans alike and is a great way to get children to consider a vegetarian diet. Daniel Stonestreet resides in Asheville, NC and has been writing poems since he was in high school. Him and his son Micah currently play connect four for poetry with as many people as possible, collecting their poems for a future volume of spontaneously written works. His goal is to show everyone that they too can write poetry if they try.
