The Inclusion of Women in Peace Building in West Africa: Critical Look at Women's Contribution in Peacebuilding and Negotiations

This book aims to examine the effects of conflict on women and their major contributions to the quest for peace in the Mano River Region, West Africa. The paper will trace the strategies used by women in building peace, those conditions in women's lives which are unfavorable to its realization, and thus the need to involve them in peace-building.
