Flowers in Blossom

I see a green worm On a bright morn It looks like jelly It crawls under the sun so pretty I want to touch it to feel its plasticity But I'm afraid if it spits on me That'll be a pity If a bird sees it Catches it And eats it The bird might think it's tasty If a kid sees it Pokes it Or steps on it The kid might think it's slimy So I have a wish for the green gem-like worm May you happily squirm, squirm and squirm Till you grow up to your maturity Then you turn into a butterfly Beautiful and jolly
