"Underway Diesel Power" is a fictional tale about a U.S. Navy diesel-powered submarine during one of her intelligence-gathering missions. The book is based on several facts, and quite a bit of fiction, in the year of 1958 during the Cold War. The story is dedicated to those who have served in our submarine service throughout the years. Always in harm's way, braving the pressure of the sea; they did their jobs.
