Author of the book 'History and philosophy of Entrepreneurship in Russia' is professor, doctor of culturology and Russian writer Yuriy Alexandrovich Pompeev. This book, as we see it, is a real masterwork, and may be justly compared with such works as 'History of the Russian State' by N.M. Karamzin (1766-1826) and Lectures in Russian History by S.F. Platonov (1860-1933). Y.A. Pompeev finds in Russian history entertaining moments of everyday life of population. Rich experience of human economic activity lays the fundament for the development of entrepreneurship in trade, industry and banking activities in Russia of 9th to 20th centuries.
