The Begats

The Sam Kyle Mysteries: Book Four The Begats Sam Kyle, Sheriff of Boyle County Kentucky, is in despair. Dr. Paul Milliman, his close friend, is dead of a gunshot wound, apparently self-inflicted. Sam believes it was murder, not suicide, but cannot prove it, until one distant day he thinks he can. Sam's efforts to identify and capture his friend's killer will take him on a decade long quest that will end in the fiery death of a woman he once loved, his own obliteration, or both. Does that do it, Sam? Is it really, truly over? Will the pattern made by the interwoven lives emerge? In retrospect does it all make sense? Don't you need a final piece to complete the puzzle? You're almost there, Sam Kyle. One last great mystery to solve.
