Tourism Tattler June 2017: News, Views, and Reviews for Travel in, to and out of Africa.

Our June magazine front cover ties in perfectly with our ongoing series in support of the 2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. In this issue, Verde Hotels shares some interesting facts on the savings that hotels can achieve through "thrivable" green-building initiatives.

The month of June is unofficially recognised as LGBT Pride Month. Our feature looks at how Africa fares in terms of gay and lesbian rights and explores the potential of LGBT Tourism.

Happy reading. #IYSTD2017
