The Truth About The Rainbow

Unable to write after returning to Saudi Arabia, novelist Yasser retreats to a borrowed apartment in Tabuk. There he begins exchanging handwritten notes with Zahra, the nurse across the landing.

What starts as a cautious friendship soon becomes something more dangerous. Yasser hides his wife, his children and even his real identity, while turning Zahra into the inspiration for his new novel.

As desire and deception begin to blur the line between fiction and reality, every lie brings him closer to exposure.

The Truth About the Rainbow is a compelling novel of loneliness, creativity and betrayal-and of the stories we tell others to conceal the truth about ourselves.
