Counter Strike: A PJ Carpenter Thriller

Two months have passed since the attacks in the American heartland. PJ Carpenter and his colleagues at the CIA's Counterterrorism Center are faced with the inevitable conclusion that a man they know only as Mumeet—the Bringer of Death—and his trusted lieutenant, Fahd al-Rasheed, have somehow managed to evade the most intense manhunt in US history. While Carpenter and his colleagues search for the perpetrators, the architect of those attacks, Sadiq bin Aziz, plots his next moves to seize control of the global jihad movement. Aziz will break ties with al Qaeda and unveil his own terror organization. But Aziz must first eliminate a key member of al Qaeda's leadership council. And Aziz and the Bringer of Death have devised a scheme that will see Carpenter turn from hunter into hunted. Once the path has been cleared, Aziz will unleash his new terror group to carry out a string of quick-strikes. Those attacks will cement his rising status and lay the groundwork for an audacious operation that will upend world order.
The stakes have never been higher for PJ Carpenter. And his enemies are about to realize the perils of confronting a trained killer with a score to settle.
