The Fields by my House

Mabel Fairchild is a country girl both at heart and in circumstance, who one day dreams of being a published author. As she navigates her way through her final months in her one room school house, Mabel encounters many heartwarming and humorous moments that will shape her year.
With a mixture of light hearted banter, poetic prose and wholesome romance, The Fields by my House is a slice of life story reflecting a simple philosophy- that the best moments in life are the ordinary, everyday ones.
