It is the fruit of awareness derived from the sayings of my late mother, who was a guiding light for me, and I have scattered her words in this book as a beacon for my children and everyone who reads its lines. This book presents a vision of the past in our Saudi society and how noble values and virtuous morals were instilled in our souls through a simple style and expressive colloquial phrases. This is so we may draw inspiration from our ancestors to help our generations understand life and possess the tools to build this nation with enlightened thought and a strong, upright will.
