Hablo como el río

Told in the first person, this picture book features a young boy who feels lonely and fears being called upon in class because he stutters. His father takes him to the river and makes him realize that he talks like the water, sometimes smoothly other times not. The author includes a heartfelt note at the end of the story about his own experience with stuttering.
