?pek's intricate, tesselated watercolors, full of natural and manmade textures, reflect his diligent, meditative and meticulously crafted approach
Turkish artist Ahmet Do?u ?pek (born 1983) explores texture, repetition and patterns in his investigations of the micro and macro structures that shape both natural and built environments. While his practice is rooted in watercolor--a medium known for its unpredictability and delicacy--his work also spans sculpture and site-specific installations.
