When 25-year-old pianist Zachary St. Johns inherits his great-grandparents' farm in Arizona, he has no idea his journey will help him discover the true magic of Christmas. He buys an old Jeep and leaves Chicago to find a run-down Victorian house with no electricity and neglected farm equipment.
The trust obligates him to repair the house and farm the land for 10 years. After some misgivings, his neighbors, who knew his great-grandparents, persuade him to stay and offer to help restore it in time for Christmas.
In the small attic, Zachary uncovers his brother's journal. He learns why his parents never took him and his siblings to visit their great-grandparents, while reliving the enchanting Cuentos Grandpa Leo told. The spirit of his great-grandparents and the magic of Christmas illuminate what truly matters in his life.
