POETRY

A simple book of verse that covers vast terrain of emotion, from love to rage to real life terror experienced by the author. A trudge through bourgeois sentimentality through the prism of a once drunken eye. The best definition of an orgasm ever written and a Christmas poem that rivals 'The Night Before Christmas' -you be the judge. The last two lengthy narrative poems Fred the Ant and Blue Fox, both have heroic protagonist that will leave a deep impression on the reader. Fraught with powerful metaphor and poignant symbolism any teen who reads either will be jousted into some profound revelatory self-reflection. Alcoholism, sailing the high seas, bar room brawls and eroticism are all topics explored.
