Dark Secrets: The Underworld of American Prisons:

DARK SECRETS is the second of my prison nonfictions. In this particular book I try to be more emotionally vulnerable in hopes that I can convey the true meaning of what it means to be incarcerated. My intent is to shock into awareness those who are on a path to prison. I want others to understand what it means to be convicted, hauled off to prison, and denied basic humanity.
