Jackalope Hunting

Merak Snyder is a runaway. He has fled home in a decades-old rust-bucket car with no idea where he's headed or why. When he stops for a meal in a slow Arizona diner, he meets a girl whose insights into who he is send him on an entirely different path. Merak doesn't know yet what harrowing adventure awaits him nor how the people and events of the coming weeks will change his very nature.
