La Vecindad, A dream come true

When we see the realization of a dream, we hardly realize all that this achievement entails. Behind every dream achieved there is a sea of sweat, tears and effort, without which nothing would be possible.
The first time I visited La Vecindad Pico de Gallo I loved the atmosphere. It felt familiar. It smelled of freshly ground coffee, of laughter, of childhood memories. That impression became even stronger when I received my food.
Everything was perfect. The service, the ambiance and the products. To achieve this, Vanessa and her husband Raul have worked hard for many years.
This book reveals some of their strongest moments, where they were almost forced to give up on their dream, but thanks to their persistence, hard work and faith, they were able to overcome all obstacles, becoming recognized by important entities such as Facebook. The learning we can take from Vanessa's experience is invaluable. Every aspect of her story teaches a little to those of us who, like her, want to achieve the elusive American dream.
This book is inspiration for those dreamers who want to make a difference. For those who are willing to pay the price to get what they long for.
I am sure this story will move many people to fight for their dreams and give their families hope for a better future.
