Ready to embark on the next chapter of his life, Sam celebrated his eighteenth birthday, weighed his options, had countless conversations with his dad and faithful best friend, and knew it was time to head out into the real world. His hometown and job at Walgreens would be left behind. Sam was not prepared for the world that awaited him; a world his dad never mentioned, along with a promise to keep Sam hidden. Several weeks ago, something awakened in Sam. It was a secret he only shared with his best friend, and something they agreed to explore together. A secret that would change both of their lives, forever. xAs they explored Sam's strange abilities, others took notice. In their world, everyone was accounted for. Their population was heavily governed, and their existence was a secret equally guarded. There was one trait that always distinguished the different bloodlines of their species - the glimmer. Now, the others knew Sam had awakened and they were coming, coming for him!
