Revolutionary Egypt: Life in Post-WWII Cairo

Tanya Rentz, retired dancer, teacher, mediator, therapist, chronicles her voyage from growing up in a traditional Coptic family in Cairo, Egypt, to the revolutionary times in 1960's California. She recalls helping to build Gary Snyder's house in the Foothills of the Sierras, participating with a Christian Peacemaker Team in Hebron, Israel, navigating working as a mediator and children's therapist in Nevada County, marriage, a divorce, birth of a child, and retirement.
